Hypha members are evolving through tensions and disputes with each other. We're identifying our triggers, pain-points, traumas and tensions that are inhibiting us from our full creative and expressive potential. Mediators hold space for healing, evolution and co-creation to more easily occur between 1 or 2 disputing parties. Mediators cannot suspend or otherwise enable or restrict access to resources for the involved parties. To execute this duty, mediators must be knowledgeable of basic facilitation methods and techniques.
Hypha members are evolving through tensions and disputes with each other. We're identifying our triggers, pain-points, traumas and tensions that are inhibiting us from our full creative and expressive potential. Bouncers can step in, examine evidence that shows that a member has been overstepping these boundaries, and take corrective action (e.g. enact a disciplinary protocol for rule violations). To execute this duty, moderactors must be aware of organizational guidelines and protocols (e.g. Game of Hypha).
The Moderator has fiduciary responsibility to protect members of the Hypha and SEEDS Discord spaces. If evidence shows that a member has been harassed or distracted to perform normal duties, it is at the discretion of the moderator group to take corrective action and enact a disciplinary protocol for rule violations. To execute this duty, moderactors must be aware of commenting guidelines and server protocols to remove members. Note that this badge does NOT include content moderation and conflict/tension resolution.
The Enroller has fiduciary responsibility to protect members of the DHO. When a new member enters the organizations through a new member application, enrollers are responsible to approving or rejecting the application. To execute this duty, enrollers must be aware of new members in the application pipeline and decide together with other enrollers, if the organization has the capacity to enroll new members. There is no direct interaction with the applicant necessary as this is handled by the respective circles.
The Treasurer has a fiduciary responsibility to protect assets that are owned by the DHO. When the DHO votes to approve transactions that are not native to the Hypha blockchain, treasurers are responsible for executing those transactions securely and accurately. The most important skills for a treasurer are contentiousness, attention to detail, respect for security, and a deep commitment to executing the will of the DHO with objective integrity.
The most common duty is executing signing (approving) transactions on Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains as part of semi-monthly redemption procedures. In this duty, treasurers ensure the right amounts are transferred to the right members based on their redemption requests. All procedures are multi-signature, meaning it takes 3 of 5 treasurers to approve any transactions, but this does not dilute the importance of security.
Serving in Treasury is a great fit for members with a financial acumen, and also for members desiring to learn more about blockchain, Bitcoin, or cryptography. It does not require technical skills, but treasurers are exposed to and have the opportunity to learn exciting, bleeding edge technologies.
